Undergraduate Student Recital: Flora Sun, Piano

Undergraduate pianist Flora Sun will present a senior Bachelor of Arts recital on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 4 pm PDT as a YouTube Premiere via the Department of Music's YouTube channel. The program will include Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Piano Sonata No. 14 in C minor, K. 457; excerpts from Claude Debussy's Préludes, Book 1; and Robert Schumann's Waldszenen, Op. 82. Sun is a student of UC Santa Barbara Professor Paul Berkowitz.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Flora Sun is a fourth-year undergraduate currently in her final quarter at UC, where she will soon be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Western Arts Music Studies and a minor in Education. At UC Santa Barbara, Flora has been studying piano under Professor Paul Berkowitz, where she was able to learn a lot and gain a deeper appreciation for classical piano music. She would like to thank Professor Berkowitz, UCSB’s Music Department, and her friends and family for supporting her over the last four years.
