UCSB Ensemble for Contemporary Music

Tuesday, May 24 at 7:30pm

Under the direction of Dr. Sarah Gibson, the UCSB Ensemble for Contemporary Music (ECM) will present a concert titled Colorations, on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 7:30 pm, in Lotte Lehmann Concert Hall on the UC Santa Barbara campus.

Honoring the late William Kraft, former Corwin Chair and director of the UCSB Ensemble for Contemporary Music, the evening will present works exploring time, transformation, and life through works by Lyons, Shekhar, Yi, Benson, Cerrone, and Steinke. The program will close with a performance of Kraft's imaginative work, Colorations. This evening will also include world premieres by UCSB PHD Composition students Diego Ratto & Deniz Çağlarcan.
