UC Love Data Week: Data Visualization - Do's and Don'ts

Monday, February 13 at 4:00pm to 5:00pm

Data visualizations can be powerful tools to present patterns and insights from research findings. However, the effectiveness of communicating data visually is highly dependent on key design and accuracy principles.

Join us in a discussion about what makes good data visualizations and things that should be avoided at all costs. This session will cover some bad and good real-world examples, and attendees will walk away with essential tips to better represent their data in a graphical form.

This seminar is promoted by the Research Data Services Department as part of the UC-wide Love Data Week 2023. Open to the UC Community. Eventbrite registration with UC email is required.
