Promoting Postdoc Progress: A STEM Postdoctoral Professional Development Program with Dr. Nate Emery

This is an 8 week program for post-PhD researchers and teachers in the Spring Quarter of 2023.

In this program, participants will discuss and learn about equitable evidence-based practices for teaching, mentoring, collaboration, and project management. Additionally, participants will develop job materials for career paths of their choice and practice interviewing. The program will include visiting speakers and Q&As with former postdocs who are now working in a variety of professional settings. This is also an opportunity to gain transferrable skills and develop a peer network of fellow postdocs within and across disciplines.
