4-day workshop designed for K-12 teachers and education students.
Hear from experts on displacement, including refugees, about what drives the refugee crisis. Gain knowledge on U.S. and international refugee policy, critically conscious pedagogy, the dangers of a single narrative and using related literature in the classroom.

Participate in lectures with UCSB faculty, panel Q&A with aid workers, and  Q&As with refugees in the U.S. Learn about the California Global Education Project resources and the UCSB resources, with special attention to the UCSB Library, available to K-12 educators.
