Coming of Age at the End of the World: An Existential Toolkit for the Climate Generation
Sarah Jaquette Ray teaches environmental studies at Humboldt State University, where she also leads the Environmental Studies BA program. She is author of The Ecological Other: Environmental Exclusion in American Culture, and co-editor of Latinx Environmentalism: Justice, Place, and the Decolonial (2019); Disability Studies and the Environmental Humanities: Toward an Eco-Crip Theory (2017); and Critical Norths: Space, Nature, Theory (2017). This talk is based on her forthcoming book, A Field Guide to Climate Anxiety: How to Keep Your Cool on a Warming Planet, which will be published by the University of California Press in 2020.
