Workshop participants will collectively explore ideas of “teaching effectiveness” and explore alternative methodologies for evaluation: self-reflection, research-based teaching inventories, and peer review. Participants in the session will join breakout groups to explore one of these methods. The groups will examine existing instruments/procedures for that approach, identify challenges associated with the method, and brainstorm “next steps” for adoption.
