8:30 PM – 42

In 1947, Jackie Robinson rewrote the future of pro baseball when he broke through the racial barrier to become the first African American Major League Baseball player in modern history. Both moving and inspirational, the film follows Robinson's trials and tribulations as he signs on to the Brooklyn Dodgers under legendary team manager Branch Rickey (Harrison Ford). Facing open racism from all sides, Robinson (Chadwick Boseman) lets his undeniable talent speak for him. (Brian Helgeland, 2013, PG-13, 128 min.)

10:45 PM – Field of Dreams

Iowa farmer Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) hears a voice in his corn field tell him, "If you build it, he will come." He interprets this message as an instruction to build a baseball field on his farm, upon which appear the ghosts of Shoeless Joe Jackson and the other seven Chicago White Sox players banned from the game for throwing the 1919 World Series. But, as Ray learns, this field of dreams is about much more than bringing former baseball greats out to play. (Phil Alden Robinson, 1989, PG, 107 min.)
